The Academic Student of the Week for Fairfield County School District is Bailey Gordon, a 10th grade student at Fairfield Central High School. Bailey is an outstanding student who currently has a GPA of
4.588. He is a diligent student who challenges himself by taking all Honors
classes in the areas of English, Math, Science, and Social Studies. He truly exemplifies a Griffin who is soaring to greatness. Bailey is planning to be a member of our Chess
Team. He is focused on his academics with future plans to become a Graphic
Designer. He is exploring his options and currently looking at schools such as
Harvard and Clemson University. Congratulations!
The Academic Student of the Week for Fairfield County School District is Jaiden Cooper, a 2nd grade student at Fairfield Elementary School. Jaiden is an A/AB honor
student, very respectful, helpful and considerate of others. Jaiden is very attentive, focused
and participates well in class. He enjoys playing basketball and
football with his brother and friends. He is presently a Yellow Belt in
Tae Kwon Do.

Davis, a second grade student at McCrorey Liston School of Technology. Darlinda
is a student that is always positive, She comes in every morning with a smile
on her face. She shows perseverance when completing tasks. Darlinda

The Academic Student of the Week for Fairfield County School District is Leslie Tapia, an 8th grade student at Fairfield Middle School. Leslie was chosen as Academic Student of
the Week because she is a member of STEM Early College Academy Cohort 4, earning
an “A” in all of her classes. Leslie is a member of the Junior Beta Club. She always demonstrate Griffin P.R.I.D.E. Congratulations!

the Week for Fairfield County School District is Kylie Curlee, a first grade student at
Kelly Miller Elementary School. Kylie
has been chosen for this award because of her academic achievement. She has
earned all A’s for the first semester. She is described as intelligent, helpful,
and likes to be challenged. Kylie is an active member of the Pompom girls on the Tiger Beatz Marching Band. Kylie displays leadership in many capacities. She sings on the
children’s choir at church. Kylie likes reading and writing. She also enjoys
playing with her dolls and her family. Congratulations Kylie!!
The Academic Student of the Week for Fairfield County School District is Antonio McDaniel, a student at Gordon Odyssey Academy Antonio is a student with an outgoing personality who has displayed
diligence in performing well academically and remaining discipline free for the
3rd Nine Weeks reporting period. Antonio enjoys barbering, having
fun, and making others laugh. Congratulations Antonio!
Student of the Week for Fairfield County School District is Morgan
Green, a fifth grade student at Geiger Elementary
School. Morgan performs extremely well in the classroom. Not only
has she been on Honor Roll all year, but she is also in the Gifted &
Talent program, on Geiger's Academic Hall of Fame (scored Exemplary in two
or more areas on state standardized testing), and a Duke TIP scholar. She
is also a member of the Junior Beta Club, partakes in various
community service projects, and recently placed 3rd in ELA at the State Beta
Club Convention. Morgan enjoys reading, writing, learning,
and hanging out with her friends. Morgan is a shining example and
model student for others to follow. Congratulations Morgan!
The Academic Student of the Week for Fairfield County School District is Paul Veintimilla, an 8th grade student at Fairfield Middle School. Paul was chosen as Academic Student of the Week because he is a member of STEM Early College
Academy Cohort 4. Paul is an outstanding student who always demonstrates
Griffin P.R.I.D.E. Paul gives his all in everything he does. He is
a member of the FMS Academic Challenge Team. During his free time, Paul
likes to do read and do research on a variety of topics. Congratulations Paul!
The Academic Student of the Week for Fairfield County School District is Alexia Hernandez, a 5th grade student at Fairfield Magnet School for Math and Science. Alexia attends school regularly and always
demonstrates excellent behavior. She produces excellent work on all of her assignments and exhibits 100% as team player. She displays a pleasant attitude and is helpful to her classmates. Alexia loves read and is an excellent artist. She works with her classmates and art teacher, Mrs.
Daly, to create projects that have been entered into many contests. She has
received awards for her artwork, such as A Place Called Home, Forward to
the Future, and Shade Contest. She is a member of the FMSMS Junior Beta Club, Girls’
Drum Line, Honors Art, and chorus. Alexia dreams of becoming an advocate for the homeless and
to be an architect because she enjoys helping others who are in need and creating fun projects. Congratulations Alexia!
Fairfield County School District Academic Student of the Week is Kendall White-Evans, a 3rd grade student at Fairfield Elementary School. Kendall is an excellent example of a hard working student. She recently
received A/B Honor Roll and Perfect Attendance for the 2nd nine
weeks. Kendall has also been recognized and taken part in the Discipline Free
incentives offered at FES monthly. In working towards her reading goal of 250
points, Kendal has over 180 points. Kendall is a member of the FES Singray
Chorus and a past member of the Girl Scouts Troop at FES.
