For many, the Christmas season creates a generous desire to
help others. For the fourth year, Fairfield County School District will
have their annual Angel Tree Program. This year, fifty-four (54) students
have been identified as “homeless” under the McKinney-Vento Act or in need by
the District’s Office of Attendance, District’s Parent Liaisons and/or Social
Workers for this year’s program. So how can YOU help? On Wednesday, November 30th the Christmas tree
(near the District Auditorium) will hold the names of those students that are
participating in the Angel Tree Program. Each angel will contain the child’s
initials, grade level, and their Christmas wish list. We would like for
All gifts should be turned into the District Office by no
later than Wednesday,
December 14, 2016. All Angel Tree gifts will be picked up by the
students on Thursday, December 15, 2016.
- Select an “angel” off
of the tree. You can either come by the District Office or you can simply
request that I email you an angel (or angels) to firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Next, go shopping for
gifts off of the Christmas list provided – the items listed are just
suggestions of what the child has requested. You ultimately can choose what you
want to give.
- If you just want to
make a financial donation, we can take care of the shopping for you!
- You can sponsor a
child as an individual, team, or department.
- Wrap the gift and
label with the initials of the child and the number listed on the angel.
