ACT 155 Diploma Requests

The deadline for submission of  ACT 155 Diploma Petitions is approaching.   All petitions must be postmarked by December 31.   Fairfield County Schools will be closed for the Winter Break from December 21 to January 1. 

According to Act 155 passed in 2014, students who met all course requirements but did not receive a high school diploma because they did not pass the BSAP or HSAP exit exams may now submit a petition to receive a high school diploma. Petitions could take up 6-8 weeks for processing, printing and delivery.

We Value Your Feedback!

Our district serves all elementary schools with Title I funding. Our middle and high schools receive other types of supplemental funding equal to what they would receive if designated as a Title I school. A major focus is to build the schools’ and parents’ capacity for strong parental involvement. Please complete the survey using the link here, or distributed by your school.  

All survey responses will be reviewed periodically at both the school and district level.  The evaluation of the Title I program, adjustments to the program, and planning for future funding will be reflective of this feedback along with that provided in your annual review of the parent involvement policy and parent compact. Please visit the Special Projects and Federal Programs tab under the Academics page on the website for more Title I details.
